Non-SRS Groups: Stockton Symphony, Napa Symphony, California Symphony, Monterey Symphony. I also frequently perform, tour and record with the San Francisco Symphony.
Favorite music: The Symphonies of Brahms, Mahler, and Bruckner. Also the instrumental works of Gabrieli.
In my iPod: The Beatles; some Black Sabbath from the Ronnie James Dio years; the complete Bruckner symphonies and choral works; a nearly complete collection of the published recordings of Sergiu Celibidace with the Münchener Philharmoniker; LOTS of Berliner Philharmoniker records. Also some of the SFS/MTT Mahler cycle, because I played on 2 and 8.
Hobbies: Auto maintenance. I’m a bit of a gearhead, and I enjoy keeping the household fleet running. I suppose I’m also a gamer of sorts, mostly a Nintendo fanboy but I’ve also been known to play tabletop RPGs (Dungeons & Dragons, etc) in the past.
