A Special Benefit Concert

Jeffrey Kahane and Bruno Ferrandis collaborate to present a concert in support of Santa Rosa Symphony’s artistic and education programs.

Thursday, May 22, 2014 - 7 pm

Bruno Ferrandis, conductor
Jeffrey Kahane, piano

BEETHOVEN: Piano Concerto No. 3

CHOPIN: Piano Concerto No. 2

Symphony subscribers have the first opportunity to select their seats for this tour de force performance—Jeffrey Kahane at the piano for two magnificent concertos and Bruno Ferrandis conducting the orchestra for our major fundraiser of the year.

Enhance your concert experience to include a black-tie-optional reception in Prelude Restaurant for $250 per person. The reception, directly following the performance, features light appetizers, wine and champagne, no-host bar, desserts, coffee and live music. This special package is limited to 150 tickets.

“It is always a joy and a privilege for me to come back to work with my dear friends at SRS, to work with my wonderful and distinguished colleague Bruno Ferrandis, and to play for my ‘hometown’ audiences.

I've chosen to play two of the concertos I love best, two works that have been in my repertoire for three decades, and that have great personal significance for me.”
—Jeffrey Kahane
