
After graduating from Stanford University
Graduate School of Business, Sam Brown worked in commercial
banking for
Wells Fargo and in wealth management for Northern
Trust. After 14 years in San Diego, Sam returned
to his native Sonoma County in 2003. Throughout
his career, Brown has been active in the community and
while in Sonoma County in the 1980’s he served
as president of the United Way and as chair of the capital
campaign for the Luther Burbank Center (now Wells Fargo
Center) for the Arts. He is currently Executive Vice-President
for Wealth Management at Exchange Bank and serves on the
bank’s executive committee. Sam and his wife Ginger
have been married 35 years and have 3 sons and a grandson.
