Tuition: Payments can be made by check or credit card. Parents are welcome to begin making payments as early as March 2007. If the balance is paid before June 25, 2007, there is no payment plan fee. If you pay the balance due amount before May 1, 2007, you are still eligible for the early bird discount.
Any balance due amounts should be paid by June 25, 2007 or a payment plan should be arranged prior to this date. There is a $25 payment plan fee for the payment plan option. This fee is also added to any balances unpaid after June 25, 2007.
Please pay promptly to ensure your musician(s)’ continued participation in Summer Music Academy.
Financial Assistance: Parents seeking financial assistance for their musicians should apply using the 07-08 Financial Aid form. A limited number of scholarships will be granted. Parents are responsible for any tuition balance remaining after the scholarships have been awarded. There is no payment plan fee assessed for those receiving financial assistance, but any balance due amounts must be paid in full by July 13, 2007.
Completed scholarship applications must be received by May 1, 2007 to be given priority consideration. Financial Aid may be available after that date but is not guaranteed. Families are not eligible for any other discounts in addition to receiving a scholarship.

Early Bird Discount: In order to receive a $25 tuition discount, complete payment for each class/ensemble for each student is due with the registration form on or before May 1, 2007.
If it is unknown which orchestra/ensemble the musician will qualify to join, parents may pay for the least expensive orchestra /ensemble of that type. Any tuition balance due because of being selected for a more expensive orchestra/ensemble should be paid no later than June 25. Students may register after May 1 and through June 25, but the early bird discount does not apply.
Multiple Class/Ensemble Discount: Families registering more than one musician, or registering one musician in two or more classes/ensembles, receive a 10% tuition discount as soon as it is confirmed the conditions are met. You are encouraged to register all children in a family at the same time, if possible.
Payment Plans: A payment plan allows you to pay for Summer Music Academy over a period of several weeks. Please note - all payment plan balances must be paid in full by July 13, 2007. A payment plan can be arranged with the Registrar prior to June 25. A $25 payment plan fee is charged for this service.

Deposit: Parents unable or unwilling to pay the entire tuition amount before May 1, 2007, may pay a $100 deposit for each child for each class/ensemble in order to secure a place in those classes/ensembles. The balance of tuition is due no later than June 25, 2007 or have a payment plan arranged.
Balances remaining after June 25, 2007 will be charged a $25 fee. For those applying for financial assistance, the $50 tuition payment per musician per class/ensemble acts as a deposit for those students.
Refunds/Cancellations: A $25 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations. There are no refunds of any kind after the second day of the class/ensemble.
