CELEBRATING OUR 85TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON
AND INAUGURAL YEAR AS RESIDENT ORCHESTRA
AT THE GREEN MUSIC CENTER

Honoring Sonoma County cultural icons
Donald Green and Corrick Brown.
Vintage cars and smiling greeters will let you
know you've arrived at the party of the year.
Breeze through registration and be greeted by waiters offering Manhattans, martinis, fine wines and a copious flow of gourmet hors d'oeuvres.
Join in the fun and fundraising and gamble for
good, and every dollar spent will bring music
education to the children of Sonoma County. The top winning players will each be named as underwriter of a youth musician's chair during the 2012-2013 season, with their generosity recognized at youth performances.
Special guests
REBECCA GREEN BIRDSALL and
GAYE LEBARON will help us celebrate
DONALD GREEN and
CORRICK BROWN for their enduring contribution to the Santa Rosa Symphony.
A special performance provided by the
"Class of Brass" youth ensemble will inspire you to open your wallets for a rousing and rewarding "Paddle Raise for Education."

The concert portion of our Roaring Celebration will feature the
Manasse Nakamatsu Duo, comprised of clarinetist Jon Manasse and pianist Jon Nakamatsu. Coast to coast touring and a 2008 debut joint CD caused the
New York Times reviewer to exclaim: "Mr. Nakamatsu's playing is as meltingly beautiful as Mr. Manasse's. The recording is impeccable, capturing such disparate instrument in full color and a lifelike perspective." The Duo will perform new ragtime and classical favorites.
Our "roaring" evening will conclude with coffee, dessert, an 85th Anniversary champagne toast, and dance music by
Local Honey Swing Band. So many reasons to join the Symphony's fun-loving, music-loving community on Friday, October 5!

Ancient Oak Cellars is the official wine sponsor for A ROARING CELEBRATION and for the 2012-2013 season's Private Reserve Club receptions.
Santa Rosa Symphony thanks Melissa and Ken Moholt-Siebert, owners of Ancient Oak Cellars, for providing fine wines that are "A marriage of sun and vine yielding a harvest of earth, moon and stars."
